Hey guys, if you notice the date of the last reply to this thread before the last two was in 2006. Thaibeard was once a very frequent poster to the Beard Board and a grower of a very fine beard. We have only recently seen him appear very infrequently and comment on a few posts, none of his own.

Edit: It has been called to my attention by wulffpaul (Nolan said last night in chat that he didn't cause this bumping of old post. I now know he was correct) that ThaiBeard edited his post and bumped it to the top of current posts, which is true. Suggestion for when you do a major edit of your post, other than spelling, typo, or grammatical corrections, please put a reason for the edit in the post, especially when the post is so old, 3 years in this case. We come along and wonder what the heck just changed? A photo deletion, addition, all the text delete. Why?

Every once in a while, mostly new members going back through all the posts to catch up, reply to a very old post not realizing the date on the post. Most likely, most of the original posters are long gone and we may never hear a reply from them.

I am closing this post to replies now that it has popped up to the top of the list. It will be great to reminisce for some but unlikely the original poster will see your compliments.

Many of the long time members get a false hope that one of our past active members has resurrected themselves when we see one of these older threads reappear, until we look at the dates.
