I am bearded once again! |
Lead | |
|
Gentlemen, its been quite some time since I have been here, let alone since I have had a full beard. I decided this month was the month I regrow it all and I
did! I am about 3 weeks in I would say and it seems to be coming in well. Only down side is my connectors still have not come in fully. On my left side I have
gotten some, but they are not that visible from far away. Anywho, my goal is to keep a short/ well-maintained beard. I like that clean professional type of
look. Hardest part has been trimming my neckline. Since I am keeping my beard relatively short, I tend to keep my neckline up a little bit higher than most.
Anyway, let me know what you all think, if theres any tips to trimming a higher/straighter neckline please feel free to chime in.

Personally, I think it is a little high. Let it gradually lower by not shaving, probably from about 1/4 inch under the sideburns to a full inch under the chin.
Patience shall be rewarded!

Thank you for your input. Like I said, I kind of like it higher for some reason. It seems to have grown on me. But I am always experimenting with different styles ect. |

Kings22,
Looks excellent bro. I like having my neck line high aswell. I think it just depends on the face but for me it makes my jaw line stand out and I like that : ) |

I usually suggest a lower neckline, but a higher one like yours and gunstar's can work when carefully maintained.

I, too enjoy a lower neckline. I followed the tips on the carving a neckline thread and would have to say it's served me very well! But it all depends on
the flow you want in your beard!

thanks for the responses. Ya I may carve the cheeks down a tad bit. Like I said I am always experimenting trying new things and such. I just wish my connectors
would come in!

Lower the neckline. It seems too high. The rest looks good. Keep growing!

You have excellent growth. Like the others suggest, I would recommend to lower the neckline a little bit, but if you like it that way, then keep it.

I agree that the neckline appears a bit high. But it is looking good.

Yup, lookin' good. Keep going!
I think a lower neckline would suit the shape of your face better too... |

I like it. You've done an excellent job of shaping by the way.

I think you should RAISE the neckline... haha, jk, I wanted to be different from everyone else.
I actually think the neckline looks ok, if the beard is kept at this length, but if you let it grow longer I would suggest lowering it. either way, the beard is looking awesome man, good luck! |
