Beard Elite Posts: 280 (06/28/09 22:40:31) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts Report Post	Tags : None About a month ago I put up a post on a Beard revival going on, a lot of you agreed now I am sure I'm on to something, I was at the Barnes & Noble with my kids the other day and noticed that most all of the cover shots of the men's magazines had full beards. So I started looking at all the other magazines and you wouldn't believe how many covers featured men with full beards. Now I admit I am fond of the full beard and do look for them on a regular basis, but I have never noticed so many magazines with the full beard. Revival I think so...Do you????? Even just flipping through the TV channels, I swear there are more beards now. Good to see. My beard is 60 days young and I started to notice beards everywhere, because I wasn't paying that much attention to it before. Just as I started wearing uniform, I started to see other soldiers everywhere. I just never noticed them before. But I think it may really be a beard revival as I've heard an austrian radio channel asking men to grow beards!

I think we are beyond the way things used to be, when one size seemed to fit all where "trendiness" was concerned. Now, its cool to see more guys experimenting, doing what THEY want with their facial hair! In the 1800s, all men had beards. In the 1900s, it went out except for the 60s of course =) Maybe the 2000s will bring back the beards!

There is currently a trend in fashion of the man's man. Nothing seeps maculinity then a full beard. I wouldn't go by doctor offices magazines because they are normally a few months old, However look at any book store or magazine rack and ther will be beards. I am slowly noticing more beards appearing on young guys and my peers. I haven't seen any on the runways yet so I don't know how long the trend will last.

Just posted an obs on beards in the UK, which seem to be getting more and more popular. I've also noticed on one of our popular soaps in the UK, 'Eastenders' that one of the main characters has grown a beard, and lots of ads have more bearded folk making an appearance now. Just enjoying it while it lasts.
