apart from literally straightening your beard with straighteners or getting it chemically straightened at a salon, which would really be up to you wether you would want to go to these extremes for a straight beard is up to you. you must think of it like the hair on your head.. there isn't much choice for wether it's straight or curly unless you physically take action.

As a favour i used to help out take bookings at one of my friends salons so i have some knowledge from observation, hair straighteners will definatly work on beard hair, i would recomend getting a unit that is temprature adjustable so you can have it on the lowest setting and it's a must that you get some temprature protection spray which will be readily available in shops/supermarkets, this will stop any hair from getting frayed if yours is particularly fine. as for chemically straightening, personally i have not seen this attempted on a beard but i can't see why it wouldn't work, it is basically the same product they use to perm hair but instead of adding rollers they comb it straight and leave it to set, i havn't seen anything like this in stores and i'm guessing a salon would be your best bet. I can't say wether a salon would acctually agree to do this and i'm not sure wether it's been done before but there is no harm in speaking to a professional and hearing there views. good luck with it and keep us updated.
