Hey. I'm 16 years old, and this is my first attempt at growing a beard. I am eventually going to trim it into some sort of style depending on my growth
pattern, but for now I am just growing it out as much as possible to see what I have to work with. These are my results after 2 weeks. Any comments and/or
advice would be appreciated!

Hi King, and welcome to the board. You have pretty good and fast growth for your age and can certainly grow something worth keeping. On your present facial
hair distribution I suggest you carve out the cheeks and some of your neck hair and go for a chinstrap style keeping the 'stache and soul patch.

agreed, great growth for your age, your doing the best thing and letting it grow out some. I agree with wulff that a chinstrap might be your best option. good

Welcome, and it looks good, you have an interesting growth pattern. I would say grow it out a bit longer, then carve it into a style you like.

3 posibilities
1. He is letting it fill in before updating and giving it time to grow 2. He caved and shaved and feels bad 3. Right now alot of high schools are having exams, his attention might be better directed towards those for now. I am sure that there are more explainations too. |
