At day 71 I shaved away a big portion of my neckbeard in order to have a neckline and to cover that up I kinda tucked the rest of the beard under my chin (apparent in the pic from the side), obviously my beard wasn't uniform length. well I didn't know any better back then //edit also seeing this contrast, I now understand what the people meant with "your beard looks angular" Check out my Yeard Last Edited By: ivan88 Jul 19 10 6:54 AM. Of course it would look strange if a young man wears a long beard and has no other expressive and extreme details of image (I guess on your former pics with yeard, where I don't see long braided hair, piersing etc.). But your yeard was expressive... and I'm thinking of a yeard now... Were any other positive comments?

Of course some who knew me better asked me why I don't have a long beard anymore, out of sheer curiosity. Yes I know that without piercings, tattoos or braids some people assumed I'm a muslim, but I don't care. Those clichés are their problem, not mine. The positive comments were of the sort "You look very well with the short beard, I like it very much" Check out my Yeard

Eventually, monks in orthodox monasteries carry relatively long beards too (including young men), but people however don't name them neither Muslims, nor Jews... Truth, as a rule they also have long hair, that "excludes" these names...
