Beard Newcomer Posts: 1 Nov 4 08 3:38 AM More My Recent Posts	Tags : advice, new beard, first beard I've been growing my first beard for a little over a week now and I think I like it. I've attached a few images and would appreciate any comments or advice. Also, is my neck line okay? What are you doing on the Facial Hair Help pages? You don't need any beard growing help! You just need some support and encouragement that you can grow an excellent beard! I guess you did have a question about your neckline. I say let it grow natural but others will recommend to raise it a bit. Keep us posted with your growing progression updates. Since you say you are are not a fan of neck hair I reckon you should establish a proper neckline now, which should be higher than what you have at present. My recommendation is that it should be on the soft part of the neck just behind (but not on) the jawbone, and follow the line of the bone all the way round beneath the jaw. Beard Jedi Posts: 3945 Nov 5 08 7:34 AM More My Recent Posts	I agree with Wulff, you will have no problems growing an excellent full beard. The whole neck line debate is very personal, but if having one makes you feel more comfortable about growing your beard then shave one in. It would probably look best just a little higher than you currently have it, but only a little. Not sure what sort of length of beard you are thinking of, but I'd certainly suggest you let it grow longer yet before you consider any trimming. Best of luck, and stick with it. Everything will be fine in a few weeks time.
