Hello beardsman,
This is the first time that I've tried to grow more than stubble. A few years back I could grow a chinstrap but not too much on my cheeks and nothing over my lip.
Today is my 3 month mark, right after my first trim by a highly reccomended barber, who cleaned up some stragglers and squared off the sides a little. I am happy with my beards progress but it doesn't really fit my mustache. I am going for an epic mountain man look, but my 'stache comes in blonde and thin, and does not connect to my beard. So I don't think it looks to great.
I am looking for some advice on what to do next. I can keep letting it grow, but I think it looks ridiculous right now. Or do you think I should trim the beard a lot more and give the mustache time to catch up?
