Greetings, gentlemen! I've been following posts on this board for a few weeks now, but haven't posted until now. I'm an almost-19-year-old (two weeks to go) who decided to start growing facial hair at the end of May. After a few weeks, I became dissatisfied with my [lack of] progress on the sides of my face, but made reasonable progress with the mustache and chin, so I kept those and shaved the sides off (mustache/goatee/soulpatch is three months, with a minor trim at the beginning of August). Well, 2 weeks ago I became interested in just seeing what my face is capable of, so I decided from that point on that I won't shave for a month or so and see what will happen/what it will look like.

I've noticed for myself a conspicuous lack of hair at the jawline. Is this likely to fill in with the coming weeks, or is there simply no way to know? I definitely have gaps between the cheeks and the chin/mustache, but that doesn't concern me. Also, do let me know if you need more/better pictures.
Beard on, in the meantime!
