Hi everybody,
I could really do with all your help and advice. I developed facial hair at, from what I gather on here, a pretty late age. I did not start getting ANY facial hair until I was 19 and a half years old. From 19 and a half to 20 and a half my facial hair development was pretty quick, to the point where I was able to sport a semi-reasonable 'teen beard' made up of under chin and sideburns and a few straggles on the cheeks. The next year (20.5 yrs to 21.5 yrs) facial hair development was a fair bit slower, but certain areas, especially the chin, really thickened up and got much more dense to the point where stubble was visible under my chin and sideburns. Before no hair was really visible until a few weeks of growth.
Fast forward to now and I am now 22.5 years and the last year has been really bad in terms of development of facial hair. I have so many transitional hairs that have just sat there dorment for over two years, and still show no signs of changing colour. This especially true of the moustache area. This started to develop when I first got my chin hair and sideburns. When the chin hairs developed they went from see through colour to black. Or sometimes from see through to orangey to black. But my moustache has just stayed see through. The hairs are elongated, but for over 2 years have not developed and thickend up and become terminal black hairs. I am really starting to worry that these hairs may never turn terminal. I mean I have read on here countless times young guys, such as myself, ask how long until there transitional should turn terminal. Sometimes I here a few weeks, some also say a few months. Never have I heard anyone say it takes 2-3 YEARS for transitional to fully develop and go terminal. And no, the hairs aren't white hairs that are meant to be white. They have no colour to them at all and look exactly like all my other transitional hairs before they developed. The other turns pretty quickly, few weeks to a couple of months on average.
Now I am not sure if what I am about to write would be causing them not to develop. Heck it is a bit embarrassing to say it on here, and I am not sure if I am even allowed. But over the last couple of years excessive masturbation has been quite a problem for me. Mostly due to me being single for the last couple of years. But could this cause a depletion in my testosterone levels and stopping all the transitional to develop? Sorry for the very personal information but we are all men here and not kids and hopefully you will be understanding.
Sorry for the lengthyyyy post but I am really worried that all these transitional won't turn. It really is getting ridiculous now.
Thanks for taking the time to read my post!
Ben
