Thanks triibeard. Always good to have the encouragement. You too Filou.Looks like I may actually be getting some length to the beard. Hope it looks the same to other people as it does to me. Anyways, here are a few photos before the end of the year. Should I keep it going past December or should I trim it back?

Just caught your avatar and from the angle I was worried you trimmed as it was looking fuller and I was thinking shorter, but ... seeing your pics it is becoming more solid and filling in more. It's looking solid! My advice is not to trim. It will take on more of its own personality as it goes on. In fact, what kind of a neckline do you have? Does yours stop like mine does right below the cheeks? If not, you might consider lowering that puppy just a bit. Not necessary as your beard looks great the way it does.
Let's see you go past December (that's my vote, but it has to be your decision). It's looking solid! Great beard on ya!!

Hey bhster! Yeah right! say Stache and I show up, pretty much accurate. I do love a good stache and yours is tremendous. I have not really trimmed anything except for a few stray hairs and to help shape the goatee area a bit. I wish I could lower my neck line, but that is it's natural line. I do not do any shaping on the neck except to shave the 2 inch stripe that goes down the center of my neck. kind of like a racing stripe.
'Stache - LOL ... just kidding. I feel your pain on the neckline (I've been a broken record on this lately). But ... time gives length and length gives more coverage. If I can do it, you can do it ... I started out like you if you look at my earlier pictures. You gotta just let it grow. That is, if work lets you - take it one month at a time and keep stretching it. That's kind of the strategy I am taking and I'm gonna be 1/2 yeard mid-Jan and I'm already thinking of sneaking in one more month and taking it as it comes.
Again - the beard looks fantastic on you and you should not be without it!

I response was, "Yes, it's now Decembeard." So once again my social anxiety was for nothing. I have got to learn to calm the hell down. Thank you everyone for being the awesome bearded guys that you are! Cheers!
