I have been growing my facial hair for a painful 2.5 months. It is blonde. Very blonde. The mustache and much of the chin hair is platinum blonde. It blends in with my skin a bit too well making it hard to see unless you are within a few feet of me. The cheeks are barely covered with what frequently seems clear and the neck area is a light ruddy brown. I have done little except cleanup stray hair and clip the stash to the contour of my upper lip. I also clippered off my left "sideburn" as I was just about to shave this silly thing off — going to see my hot ass hairdresser tomorrow and I am too embarrassed to sport this mess.
My hair has a fiber optic quality that is not obvious from pictures. From certain angles it appears dark blonde and somewhat ruddy (see the neck), looking at shafts from other angles (especially perpendicular) the hair seems somewhere between platinum blonde and clear (see mustache and cheeks). It also is really hard to see from more than a few feet. If you want to see some pictures from further away I would be happy to oblige.
My friend has been trying to convince me to keep it, but he seems more interested in being recognized for his 'elite' facial grooming techniques than actually offering good advice. My brother is also trying to get me to keep it, but I seem to remember tricking him into sleeping with a really weird girl at the bar — herpes-ville minimum security apparently — so this could be a trick.
I will be shaving at 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (1/16/2014). Get your hits in before then. Please be honest. I swear I will survive. Thanks in advance. Without further ado:

I have images starting at about 2 weeks and taken every 2-4 weeks thereafter if you are interested.
