Maybe a weird topic on a forum for beards, but hoping I can get some advice for later on when I ditch the stache again and grow a beard.
My relationship with the beard has been somewhat on/off. There are periods where I decide not to grow it, and times (like these) where I do.
Currently, I'm going for a handlebar moustache, probably to be complemented with a van dyke or a trimmed full beard. I'm almost 2 weeks in since my last complete shave(just 1 day short) and it looks like I'm on the way. However I have no idea what to do to prepare for the moustache to grow outward or long for that matter.
What say you guys, how many weeks would it take to get what I'm after? I usually just shave or trim my beard when it reaches the itchy fase, which just started today, but I want to keep at it this time so any tips or comments would be appreciated.
I currently only shave the top of my cheekbones and my neckline.
