I dunno where to ask this, but I guess the beard board is a good place, even though its not about beards...well sorta.
Anyways, I got my last haircut a while ago and I think I will grow it out longer. How long i'm not sure. its about 3 inches right now...which seems like nothing I know, but my hair is EXTREMELY thick and wavy, and it looks like alot.
I was wondering if there is somewhat of a "procedure" or whatever when growing one's hair out. What I mean is should it be trimmed in the process so that it looks neater? The only thing I can think of is trimming it in the back, because if I cut the sides I would lose any look of length I may have.
I think that the longer hair will go well with my beard, which is why I want to grow it out. I think it will look weird if I have short hair with the beard. I have actually considered shaving my head to go for the bald with beard look, but don't know if I would actually do it...
