Hi all,
Been browsing this site for a couple of weeks and thought I'd introduce myself and say Hi. Seems a friendly and supportive site.
I've been bearded quite a few years, started off with pretty short beards, but been keeping around the 1" - 1.5" mark for the past year or so. Been wanting to let it grow big and natural for some time, but usually end up 'tidying' it up, which inevitably ends in shorter beard! So I'm hopingyou guys can help me keep the scissors at bay! Recently let the neck line start growing out, and I like the overall look. The moustache has usually fallen prey to trimming first, as I've often felt torn between wanting a big natural 'tache, and the ease and convenience of a shorter one.
I'm currently training to be a primary school teacher, so I do need to consider looking fairly professional. In an ideal world I'd let it grow long enough that I could roll/pin it up for work - but whether or not I can acheive this before job-hunting time is another matter.
Photos in my profile (webcam pics, so not the beast quality I'm afraid). Adivice and comments welcome.
All the best,
