So, While I am technically not a teenager any more as I turned 20 not too long ago, I still thought to post in this forum as this is my very first attempt at growing a beard. I have grown a small chin beard once in the past (for only 2 months), and I participated in movember last year; However, after growing a decent moustache last year, I decided to step it up and grow a full beard for the winter (possibly longer depending on results). So far, to my surprise, I have been getting some favourable reviews amongst my friends and co-workers, and I have attempted to keep it in line so it doesn't grow too far down the neck, or too high on the cheeks. I have been conditioning it and combing it consistently, but I don't really know what else I can do to keep this thing growing to its full potential. I think its coming along pretty nicely for a first attempt (I started it Sept.1st), but what do you guys think? Should I keep it growing? if so, what can I do to keep it thick and long? Also, is there any way (besides straightening) that can help to make my hair grow downwards and not so curly? Thanks!
