Beard Friendly Posts: 72 Apr 6 11 12:55 PM More My Recent Posts	Well, I've waited two months so one more is okay, I'm beginning to accept that growing a beard take time. For me it takes more than it does for many others, but I still got three more months till it has to be fully grown. So I'll wait it out. This site helps a lot with the waiting, so I'll keep posting my updates and in the mean time following all of the other beards is a great way to spend the time between the updates. I really enjoy my own progress, but the other board members progress is almost as enjoyable.

I'm begining to think about new goals, as in half a year - and who know after that, the yeard seems like the way to go. But for now I'll stick to the three month goal, then the Roskilde Festival goal and then we'll see...

Another think I have noticed is peoples reaction. Both the the people I see every day and the ones who see me for the first time bearded. You never know who will muck you for it and who will support it and compliment it. Most of the people I know seem to like it, but some of them loath. I try to guess what a certain persons reaction will be, before I get it. I never seem to be right. But the fuller the beard gets, the more the support side grows. Well, that was my 50 cents for now.

I like watching the progress in my 3-6-9 week picture, but it occurs to me, I like the neck line better in week 6. I don't know if it will even out and look good again or not... If you can at all stand it I would leave your neckline alone all together. Ben Bernanke is a pretty important guy, probably the most powerful bearded man in American politics, and he has no established neckline:

Beard Friendly Posts: 72 Apr 22 11 12:53 AM More My Recent Posts	I've just made a very light surface trim of the pointy hair and the stach. It really makes me feel a lot happier about the beard (and keeps food from getting stuck in the stach). I keept the neck line as it is, even though it's not connected to the skin. My beard don't grow that far down, so it's the hairs from further up the neck, hanging down and covering. I'm going to leave it like this the next couple of weeks and see what happens. The beard it self is staying and I'm hoping for better coverage on the cheeks over the next couple of months. The light trim makes it somehow seem denser and more like a full beard. But I'm not trimming a single hair again for atleast three weeks. By the way, loads of politicians in Denmark has beard. I like B. B. beard as well, I just hope it won't affect my head hair

(Plus, his beard has gone completey grey from this job). Also, Bernanke has had some form or beard of facial hair for his entire adult life, the Harvard yearbook pic with the horseshoe is pretty remarkable at least for going against stereotypes abit. Anyway, DP, your beard is really coming along nicely and I think it suites you very well. Hope you keep it a long time.
