Your stubble now is what great beards are made of. You should have no worries. While your stubble growth may look thin to you now and thinner on the right side it really isn't thin to grow an excellent beard. You have done a perfect job of edging the cheeks and shaving the neckline for the growing a beard on purpose look.

The bare area on your right side near your ear can be covered over with longer beard growth (1/2 to 1 inch) from just in front and top of that area, since whisker growth in that region on most guys grows back towards the ears. It looks like you may have had a scar underneath your right eyebrow, which has covered over it nicely and is barely visible.
