Hey Tom - first off - not a long and boring story at all. Secondly, the haircut looks great and, more importantly, you're happy with it. As for the beard trim - sorry didn't work out as planned but that's for the best. I'm glad you trusted your instincts - you know what you want and if it doesn't feel right, I believe it's always best to step back. And as Tom E said you stepped up in that pressure moment and did that; so good for you! You can always revisit that barber if you want after you've had some time to think. If not, so be it; that just means there's another barber out there that's a better fit for you. So relish that great haircut, grow your beard (which stands out with that sharp haircut) some more, and see if you find a barber you feel more comfortable with. Have a great weekend. Cheers buddy.
