TRIM?? What is this "trim" of which you speak? You're growing a [great] beard, and the longer you let it grow, the thicker it will look, and the more manageable it will be for you.

If you trim your sideburns, they will be better able to resist gravity and more likely to do what you don't want them to do. Once they get long enough, you'll also be able to shape and blend them with the rest of your beard using a blow dryer and an open-bristle styling brush. Beard oil can help soften the hairs and make them more responsive to your styling, and a stiffer beard balm can help keep it in the shape you desire. Length will help both give you good results.

Don't worry about looking like Zach. Let your beard be the best for YOU, and let Zach want to model his after yours.

I trimmed a little tiny bit off my sidebruns but i'll lsiten to guys and won't let razro nor scissors touch this beard for at leqst a couple more month . Also I didnt think about balm. good idea.
Anyway thanks doe all your advice everyone. I in fact have been subscribed to The Beard Baron for months no   PS. I am not 'coveting' Zach's beard lol. He just has the length and density I want so I used him as an example. I could havep posted a photo of Ryan Dunn, Bill Murry from the life aquatic, etc.
