Hola my bearded brothers! Hope all is well for everyone today. As in the title, today marks my second month is my bearded quest to reach my yeard! (Which by the way will end on January 26th, 2017 as I had thought.) Also a shout to Tom (Beardedfather) for your kind message!

As you can see in the pictures, things look a lot...beardier than before, haha! This is where things start to get a bit crazy with the hairs now. The so-called "scruffy" appearence is setting in and its getting harder and harder to keep looking tidy. But, do not fear! I will NOT be trimming my beard at all! The ONLY thing I've done is shape up my soul patch. I did it only because I started to have a few of the hairs not only get way too crazy, but some of them started to penetrate my skin due to how curly they were. It was slightly painful and I noticed some blackheads forming where they were. So, I trimmed away the problem sides and it cleared up nicely. Not to mention I'm more of a fan of a thinner soul patch than the one you saw in last month's photos.

Before I post the photos, I'd like to just give a reminder and apologize for not posting any updates on here since my last comment. I should have made clear that I do not post weekly or bi-weekly. I post on a monthly basis on the 26th of that month. I do this so I'm not overloaded and can make sure I really dedicate my time on the 26th to my beard instead of throwing it in with all the other crazy events that I deal with on a daily basis. I know it means I won't get as much traffic or responses to my post, but I'm perfectly fine with it!

Now, the pictures!

image Front. Heyo! Sorry for my bland and tired expression. I'm actually pretty stressed and upset right now due to work-related issues.

image Bottom. Here you can see the problem area I have with the two spots a lot better. My left side simply grows more than my right side. I'm going to have the barber even it out either at my half-yeard or full yeard. Not like before though where it was a giant oval, but looking to have my left evened out with my right so they form a  symmetrical /\ shape, if you can envision what I'm trying to get at. Also, you can see that my mustache and beard do now connect! It's not as strong as it will be in the months to come since my connectors always tend to grow in slower and later.

imageLeft. As you can see, my connectors are filled in, but there still a lot more slower hairs that are growing, but tend to grow in a few months later. This will add to the bulk of the connector.

image Right. As it always is, my right side tends to be my slower side than my left in regards to the mustache and connector area. The hairs are there, I can see them in the mirror, but they take even longer than my left side!

Alright! That's my two month update! I gotta say, I'm very pleased with how my beard is pretty much symmetrical on both sides. It really makes it easier for me to deal with and it means less of a worry over one side compared to the other. As I said, the symmetry of the two bald spots and the connectors are the only problem areas I have, but they will be corrected with time, patience and the barber! Aside from the soul patch that needed to be dealt with on hygienic and comfort reasons, my beard is and will remain UNTOUCHED!

Beard on!
