Fred,

Thanks for the information on your thread....#20. I will put it to good use.. I hope! I understand where you are coming from when talking about dialysis. My father had complete renal failure about 15 years ago. Both of his kidneys stopped working altogether. He had to go on dialysis and was put on the transplant list. Dialysis is an amazingly difficult thing I noticed. Time and energy consuming. He finally got a donor kidney, Mine wouldn't match up... imagine my disappointment. Sons are supposed to be almost 95% match. most of the time. Either way, he got his kidney and man did that open up so many doors for him not only health but attitude wise. His whole outlook on life changed. Family finally became his priority , not work. I guess dealing with your own mortality changes your outlook. He lived with his new kidney well for about 8 years. Then he changed doctors, his doctors changed his medications, and his kidney failed again. So back on dialysis again. After a grueling battle with dialysis, failed stents, pnuemonia, and too much fluid around his heart he eventually gave in to his illness. A lot more complicated that I made that out to be. I am very happy and thankful to hear you are beating your illness and are feeling well. This illness for sure is something that is close to my heart. So take care of yourself. Thank you for the advice thus far!!
