USE OF THE WEATHERBEARD TO DETERMINE WIND DIRECTION:

1. Position the WEATHERBEARD in the Standard Starting Position (SSP) with the nose pointing north.
NOTE: You may need to use a compass (not included) to establish the correct orientation for the SSP.

2. Observe beard hair directionality:
   a. If beard hairs are pointed toward the right ear, the wind direction is from the West.
   b. If beard hairs are pointed toward the left ear, the wind direction is from the East.
   c. If beard hairs are pointed toward the front and lashing against the forehead, the wind direction is from the South.
   d. If beard hairs are pointed under the chin and flapping around both sides of the neck, the wind direction is from the North.

Assuming that this WEATHERBEARD is aligned in the Standard Starting Position, what was the wind direction at the time of this photograph?

DISCLAIMERS:

These operating instructions are for the Standard Model WeatherBeard.
The Chuck Norris Model WeatherBeard is not influenced by the wind but tells the wind which way to go.
Be sure to understand which model of WeatherBeard you have installed prior to use.
