You did a beautiful job on the trim. The sign of a good one, IMHO, is when it's unnoticeable at first yet give a beard just a bit more definition. Maybe you can come to Oregon and do mine

That's great news on getting some family members into the beard game! How do your mother and sister feel about it? I know that I have seen some soap recipes floating around on the board but I can't remember where. I'd try searching the products forum if I were you. Finally, I agree with baldbandit about the hairs changing color. Many guys here have mentioned it. With light-colored beards the change is more subtle but on a beard as dark as yours it's bound to be very noticeable. I say, 'embrace the grey'. You've earned it!
