Update Week 16

Not much to say about this update. I'm happy, but I am happy since weeks. I still hope that my left cheek fill more. Their process is slow. If my calculations are not wrong, I think that at week 26 will look like my right cheek was seen at week 13. That is, right now it looks like the other looked  in his week 8, more or less. I still think that, at some point, I will do some trimming, but not with the intention of balancing both sides, if not with the intention of allowing the hairs behindhand to catch up with the rest. Of course, I'd like to you help me think since now, about how to make those cuts, because I do not trust any barber so I'll do it myself.

There is something that I want to mention since some time. It has to do with the way the guys here encourage others. We live in a patriarchal world, where we painted a male God, and women until a few decades ago were aimed at housework. I say this because in this masculine world, at men have been taught from childhood things like that men are braves and don't  can cry.

I do not know how is in your countries, but at least in mine and in all Latin America, one have to prove his manhood since child is and in many cases this is done with a fistfight. I have still memories of fights off school. In a world so male, is not very common for men to be able to tell other men who look good or are handsome. In addition, in a world of wild competition, where applies the law of the jungle, the survival of the fittest, it is weird to hear someone telling things how "you can", "belief", "not despair".

Well, that's something that happens in this Board. And that makes it so special. Learning to put aside the maleness that have taught us, it is a great act of courage. Not have afraid to make comments that in other places are could be misinterpreted. Or who has seen a group of office mates at coffee time telling each other: "Today you look very handsome", "you look great with these five pounds more", "I love the way you combine your clothes"? Something like that happens here. I think the world would be a better place with more people like you, that don't doubt to encourage others, rescuing the virtues and not defects. Urging others to go forward in their search efforts.

The beard is just an excuse to be more humans. I just wanted to say that. And thank them for that. To all.
