Ronnie, what you say about of "a big plug of tobacco", reminds me something that happened to me some time ago. I met a girl, prehispanic ceramic collector. When she saw me, he looked at her collection and made me see a figure of a seated man, with one cheek larger than the other. He really looked like me. He was an shaman in a ceremony. He chewing leaf coca not tobacco. I don't have a picture of that figure, but it was more or less like this:
