You have been a real trooper through this journey and I fully understand and support your decision to carve back to a Van Dykesmiley: smile.

I have discovered that most teens have too high a goal for their first beard and must be encouraged to accept less than they expect.  I also know that every guy has a threshhold for the minimum amount of coverage that can be tolerated.  You pushed the limit for yourself and decided the fullbeard was not quite enough for you at this time.  In 6 months, it could easily become acceptable.  You just have so many transitionals that could go terminal at any time.

You have my kudos for the yeoman's effort you made over these months.  Wear your Van Dyke with pride as it is very robust and it fits your age nicely.  Then, keep checking the sides for new terminals as I don't feel it will be too long until you decide to go full.
