I echo the words of the beard masters Sean and Tom. Just know that we all started where you are at and just took the journey week by week. I would like to share a few tips that helped me and may help you:

1) If you ever think of shaving - give it at least 24 hours so you can think about it...and post your worries here so we can help you in the crisis.
2) Some friends and family will dissuade you in the first stages of growth. Just stick to the goal and know that the first couple of weeks are the most awkward with growth.
3) You will hit the itchy stage (around week five) and the best way to combat that is some good beard oil. It will keep the hairs healthy and make your skin not as dry underneath.
4) Most go through the "mid-journey crisis" around the seven week mark. This is the stage where you may not see progress, you still see flaws, etc. I have seen the BEST growth happen after that stage. So if it comes around - just keep your eye on the prize and know that your beard is only getting better day after day.

Keep us update on your progress, and just by looking at your pictures, I am seeing some great coverage and growth. I think you are going to have one awesome journey.
