You trying to be the next Ryan Seacrest? Cuz your building up a lot of suspense with these pics and saving the best for last (the front facing pic) :rolling haha anyways your haircut looks nice and your cheeks are definitely making progress! Can't wait to see the stache!
Haha, nothing quite that interesting, really. The reason for the waiting was, I was holding out hope that maybe my jawline would darken a little. No such luck, so... Thence came the update!

The disjointed jawline is not that bad because it just separates the two areas of coverage... each able to stand on its own. I really think the total package looks good enough to keep and that you will gain more confidence sporting this much beard.

This is where I think the above photos may be misleading. I've edited two of them for further commenting:

If you look at the areas outlined, I'm pretty sure in person (seeing reflections and things) that those are the areas where it's really visible, and the rest only shows under really good lighting. Most of the time, it's those dark upper areas people can see, and while I'm happy to keep growing and wait it out, I'm not convinced it looks good enough to keep like this after 4 months. In the left side image, between the lines outlining the sideburns and the circle around the cheek area, there's actually a "gap" of lighter hair which, again, just makes it look really disjointed and splotchy.

Now please bear in mind, I'm not trying to complain or anything, but I wanted to demonstrate my thought process on the matter clearly.

As for the neck suggestions, those sound good. I'll see what I can do about those. And actually, that area has been untouched for three weeks - it's really getting to the point where I need to think about that! smiley: laugh

Once again, thank you, as always, for your comments.
