I think you have reached the point where the sides should stay. I know you want more coverage, especially in the one area of the jawline, but it really looks quite acceptable because the sides have become quite noticeable. Also you have tons of young activity in those sides and you're going to see new terminal hairs showing each month now.
The disjointed jawline is not that bad because it just separates the two areas of coverage... each able to stand on its own. I really think the total package looks good enough to keep and that you will gain more confidence sporting this much beard.
I do notice one other possibility... your neck has two places where you could establish the centerpoint of your neckline. You chose the lower point which widens the area of lighter coverage in the side views. If you instead choose the point right behind the goatee and carried the line along under the jawline, it would put more emphasis on the jawline and sides... which is what you want. Note in the Left Side 2 picture, draw a line from just under the heavier goatee to the bottom of the sideburn and carve that line. I laid my finger on the picture and I think it improves the total presentation... see what you think. Take a look at Right Side 2 picture where you've cut out the neck hair... doesn't that look good to you? It does to me.
