Your coverage is not that thick just yet and when the hairs get longer, they don't intertwine very much.  That makes them more see-through, especially when there is air behind them as is the case of the goatee.  When there is skin behind the hairs, they can appear to have a little more coverage but in truth, you'll need the slower starters and transitionals to take off before densities start looking more solid.  The longer you let the goatee grow, the more see-through it will be... for that reason, I wouldn't let those hairs get super long. 

How are the sides coming now?  Are you starting to see a little more coverage?  You always had a great looking stache and in this shot it shows very significantsmiley: smokin. The heavy stache with shorter goatee and emerging soul patch is a great look for you.smiley: smile

As for the tie collection... not too obvious... except for the white one which may top off your beard nicelysmiley: happy  Suits and ties always show the beard in a better light... I think because formality and a mature look coexist nicely.
