Thank you, PaulM!

It's been an interesting and exciting life for all involved, Trick, and this was a perfect wrap for all that's come before.  Thank you!

Yeah, the Yuku problems couldn't have come at a more annoying time for me, Dave smiley: mad!  She surprised everyone, including her fiancee, with that carving in her hair.  What's hard to see in the photo are that the heart is flanked with their initials, Z & L.  She's a creative and clever kid!

ARB, you're not the first to mention that the poop incident could have been far worse!  Thank you for your kind words.  I'm not sure we're talented as much as persistent and, yes, I was really, really happy that the beard decided to behave that day!  As you well know it's not always a given.

Thank you, Kenny !  I learned long ago to follow my daughter's suggestions on anything regarding fashion (though Paul, not my daughter, was the inspiration for the hat) so I knew I'd be up you-know-which creek without a paddle if I didn't do so that day!  And, yes, it's been a long time coming and there's still something somewhat surreal about the whole thing.   It's taken until this week for it all to really sink in.

Yeah, Paul, we got the memo on the color!  Thank you.  It was the perfect venue for them.

This is indeed what life's about, Matt, in so many ways.  It closes a chapter for my wife and me and opens a new one for them - it's overwhelming at times - and sharing it with my friends here is something I've looked forward to for a long time.  Thank you!

Thank you for that, ruloj, believe me, the pleasure was all mine!  As for the re-work, well, when it's your daughter it's amazing what you're willing to do and, yes, that last photo alone would have made it worthwhile.

Elf!  Great to see you!  Yep, the chin curtain's getting longer and a some wonderful things have happened recently.  Fortunately the beard figured into my daughter's expectations for the day, though I've no doubt I'd drawn the line had she had other ideas.  Thank you!

Dirk, thank you.  There's no need to apologize!  You mention the 'big beard' and I have to say that that day, wearing my beard that way, felt so 'right' in so many ways.

Cheers, all!
Tom
