Welcome to the board! You have a pretty common growth pattern for young guys. Your beard will continue to develop well into your 20s, 30s and 40s as well. Actually, I think you have good ear-to-ear growth and it grows close enough to your jawline that you will not have a neckbeard. I think this has potential to look good. You'll need time. I know you may be looking for a short look, but I would suggest giving it a 3 month go. A beard needs at least 3 months to fill in properly and hair grows in cycles, so there may be some slower growing hairs that may appear around 7-8 weeks. That said, go for it. Set a goal of 13 weeks knowing that at 13 weeks you're going to pick a style and go with it. I think it has potential to look good! Also, if you post here weekly, you'll get support and you can track your progress. A lot of guys get discouraged by daily mirror looks, but what you really need to do is to see your weekly progress. I'd say go for it. I think you have enough growth to look good.
