Great questions... here's my crack at them...

1. When you find a product that makes your beard look better, stick with it until it runs out.  Then, either get more of that product or try another.  Use the same product on your stache.  I don't recommend using beard shampoo more than once a week. My ritual is a Sunday morning shampoo/conditioner and water wash the rest of the week.  I don't think a beard shampoo will damage your beard hairs... otherwise, that company would not be in business very long.

2. The purpose of the glue is to hold your stache during horizontal training.  Got2b is water soluble and as soon as you wash it, it goes. I wouldn't be specifically washing it out, but if your ritual is to wash your face before going to bed, then that would take it out.  Your stache is getting rather long and you may find after a few weeks of training, it stays better horizontal.  Once the hairs reach about 1", blow drying after your shower will probable hold it.  I like to use a small diameter brush and rotate it from center to end while blow drying.

3. Sure, comb your entire beard each morning... also try a soft brush to see if that makes a difference.  Boar hair brushes are pretty cheap at Walgreens
