I've got a few questions relating to the grooming and cleansing of my facial hair...

1. I just got some "Billy Jealousy Beard Wash" and used it for the first time today. I used it on both the mustache and the goatee (and a little bit on the growing sides just for the heck of it), and it made the hair feel much cleaner and softer. Should I be using a different product on the mustache, or does it not matter? And then, as my main question, just how often should I be using (beard) shampoo? I run cold water over the hair every day as part of my morning routine, but I've heard you shouldn't be using actual shampoo on it too much cause this can damage the hair. Is there a certain timespan I should be planning to use the shampoo with?

2. About the Got2B Spiking Glue . . . how frequently should that be applied/washed out? Cause yesterday was my first day of using that, and then the Beard Wash today cleaned it out, and I didn't use the spiking glue again due to time constraints - so it is something I should be applying every morning and washing out every night, or is there a different routine for that?

3. With the goatee, because it can look pretty disheveled (and, strangely, thin) after a night's sleep, I tend to wet it every morning and then comb it down/back. Does that sound good to you guys?

Beard on, in the meantime.
