Actually, you do not have to wait to show that beautiful smile with your new beard... a smile like that spreads out the stache considerably and if you don't believe me, go to the mirror, put on that same big smile and see if your front look is a little different from the last straight on shot you took.smiley: wink  If it is, post a side by side picturesmiley: smokin... if it isn't, forget that I mentioned itsmiley: frown

Actually, yes, I've realized that myself. Any time I've seen myself smiling with a mustache, I've been surprised how well it spreads out!

I can imagine that the beard you have so far has improved your confidence and maturity levels already... just imagine the additional boost you will get when you have your fullbeard completed with darker sidessmiley: smile.  At that point, you may be convincing all your male friends to get bearded.smiley: laugh  How do the females take to your beardedness?
Believe it or not, I haven't really gotten many comments from them. That may be due to the fact that most of my contact with women is at community college and at church. In the case of community college, most of the girls I'm seeing frequently now are ones I met for the first time in classes this semester, so they've only known me with facial hair (although one friend of mine from classes last year did say she liked it). In the case of church, my family and I changed churches recently, so nobody at the one we go to now knows me without it. lol. All that said, several female friends who I keep in touch with via social media liked the change a lot.

“For God wished women to rejoice in their locks alone growing spontaneously, as a horse in his mane; but has adorned man, like the lions, with a beard.” - St. Clement of Alexandria
