Tom, I thought that using the little hairties all the time might not be the best idea - in my case I believe the hairdryer was the main culprit.

Thanks Marty, I think it´s just a temporary setback, I´ll just be a bit more patient with my facewarmer.

I was beginning to suspect something along those line, Triibeard. During our search for RiffRaff it looked almost like he laid out little hints ofr us to follow. Does he wat to be found or is he just leading us astray, I wonder? Your theory about our beards being a bit more prone to damage sounds solid, guess that means growing an inch, trimming a centimeter.

Operation beard rescue is in full effect. The conditioner and treatment seem to be working wonders. The beard seems much less brittle and a lot more springy than before. I have also invested in a new good Aleppo Soap for cleaning the skin underneath all the fur - with great results. The JOICO shampoos are quite pricey (at least on this side of the Atlantic) but so far I have had great results.

The most surprising thing for me was to see that when my beard hairs had regained some springiness they spontaneously dropped in length and settled into a new shape.

Well, looks like beyond 8 inches my beard goes from Garibaldi to Saruman with a slight fork - but it´s not something I am unhappy about. Will be interesting to see how that develops.
