Glad to hear you're planning to just keep growing, Leo.  I think you'll really love the bigger beard.  As for going around shirtless, well, I do prefer it, but there's a matter of decorum, of course.  It took me a while to work up the nerve to share those photos here, though!

Marty and Justin, thanks for that.  I have to say, though, that I've never really taken a cotton to the ring of long hair look.  Maybe that will change in time, but for now I prefer the shorter look.  I think it helps keep the whole look with the bigger beard a bit neater too.

Marty and Larry, I definitely plan to try to get a picture of that wedding party!  It should be awesome!  I'll see if Cory will send a pic for me to post after the wedding.

I was wondering if that wasn't a Swiss red wine, Dominik.  I was stunned to see all the vineyards there since I'd never really heard much about Swiss wine, but then I read that 98% of it is consumed within the country.  And I, too, love those glasses! We don't see them in the US - they're very European, I think- but I've seen them a lot in my friends' homes in Germany.  Glad to hear that the beads have arrived and that you're experimenting!  Yeah, it takes more length to get a looser, more relaxed braid but I think you'll still have fun even now.  Now we needed a beard, braided, biker pic smiley: smokin

Thank you, Hatriot!  I have come to like this pattern too and I've no doubt that when you beard starts to get some grey it will look stellar!  As for the lip weasel, it's still there as much as ever.  The problem is that it's no more than ever.  My mustache appears to have reached terminal length a year or more ago, so I'm topped out at about 17" if I stretch it.  Yours must be longer than that by now!  The reason you don't notice it any more is that 1) usually just brush it into my beard, as it is in all these photos, and 2) in a relative sense it just doesn't look as big now that my beard is so much longer and fuller.  For proof though, I decided to wear a braid and a little wax in my lip weasel, for Justin's sake, to the office today.  In this photo my stache is about 14" tip-to-tip.  Sorry for the crummy resolution, I shot this with the front-facing camera on my cell phone during my lunchtime walk.

Indeed, Kenny, and he's carefully cultivating that relationship, and the need to grow for the wedding, to counter the occasional trimming suggestion from his fiancee  My pleasure on the on the image issue and it's great to see you back here!  I hope you can get that image issue squared away.

Happy bearding, boys!  I don't know about you, but me and my beard are looking forward to some cooler weather after this scorcher of a summer!

Cheers!
Tom
