I've been given a little bit of grief, in good fun, by my dad (who subscribes to the "only grow what's completely developed" idea), but the more I've let my face do its thing, even in its incomplete stages, the more I've enjoyed this little "cooperation with nature," giving my facial hair "free rein" over my face.
As you know by now, I push this construct of growing everything and getting used to the sparser sections as your beard develops.  It is because very few teens have completed coverage and in most cases girls who like beards kind of go for a guy her age whose beard is still developing.  Most teens will reach the same conclusion you have made, to grow it all out, but perhaps not to "cooperate with nature".  I think you are on the same page as me but have rationalized it a little different.  As I said before, you are going to have a really nice fullbeard when your transitionals go terminal.... I think you will enjoy watching those darker hairs arrive little by little... this is only time you will get to see this change.smiley: wink  When critics like your dad suggest to "clean it up", just say you don't think it looks bad enough to do that and you are enjoying to watch the process.
