Here we go. Left side:

So looking at these images, the difference looks a lot less "bad" than it did looking in the mirror, so that's encouraging. Are the hairs on my lower side vellus or transitional (I'm a little hazy on the difference)? Either way, the left side does have many more of them, giving it a fuller look overall. Beyond seeking general advice on how to move forward, I do have a couple questions:

1. You may be able to see in the right photo, I have a little mole near my chin that grows about 3 thick hairs....Should I shave those while waiting for the rest to fill in?
2. When should I think about shaping the neckline?

If you'd like more pictures, just say the word. I imagine it's impossible to say, since facial hair is so individualistic, but is there a general conjecture yet as to what this will look like at the end of three months?

Beard on, in the meantime. 

Interesting postscript: I've now inspired my older brother to grow a mustache (he's in the Navy, so he can't grow a full beard, but he wants something).
