Welcome to the board... you have a stellar stache on the waysmiley: smokin and the rest of your beard is shaping up to be a keeper.smiley: smile  Set you mindset on getting fullbearded but be patient as your coverage develops.  You will have a decision on the stache whether to keep it trimmed just above the upper lip or whether to train it horizontal and bulk up.  With the strong soulpatch you have, either treatment will look good. Have patience with the goatee which will most likely get heavy after the sides thicken up.  Expect this development to take some months.

I am all in favor of raising your neckline just a bit so that you don't see that neck hair from the side views. I realize you don't have much jawline coverage yet, but I believe your sides will get a lot better coverage over your 3 months of growing.  That will give you a quite intentional beard look... miles away from looking hoboish.

Set your sights to grow 3-4 months and don't give a second thought to the stages you will go through this next month. A developing beard always looks a bit unkempt but as you raise the neckline and brush the beard, it will look like you care about your beardedness... then along with the words you use to describe your journey, others will notice your serious intentions.  Beard Growing library [my signature] has a lot to say on these subjects.

I have noticed that guys with great chest hair as you have tend to grow nice looking beards but I don't know that there is any scientific correlation on this. One thing I do know is that as your beard gets heavy over the years ahead, a stubble neckbeard connecting your beard to your chest hair can look hot.  If you grow a huge beard, then the neckbeard adds bulk.  Of course, you may decide to keep a younger look for your younger years... keeping a normal neckline and clean neck... just to establish your bearded look and having others then expect you to be always bearded.

Keep growing and show updates every couple weeks. On what day do you turn 20?... I'd like to see a nice looking young man's beard on you before you go to the adult forumssmiley: wink.
