Welcome to the board, man! Dude - that's an awesome beard! Today seems to be the day for Awesome beard day on the board! I think the barber did a good job! The 'stache is fine. Give it more time and let it grow more. I think it looks good! We are our own worst critics ... I think is all looks good and it suits you very well! A couple of things ... first, that's a fine looking short established beard, how about I move you over to Short Established Beards?? Second, what are your goals? You have a fine beard already ... the 'stache will com along and more length would do well for you as well!

Thanks!

Move me wherever you think I should go! My goal right now is to make it a full 6 months, to see what I really can put on my face. Today was the only time I trimmed the main part of my beard, so I hope that it keeps growing till it covers the length of my kneck.
6 months??  I like the goal!  Yeah, your beard will pretty much keep this shape as it grows out - that's good as it's cool the way you have it.  Beards grow about 1/2" per month on the average, so, covering your neck - you can do the math to see how long you will need to grow.  If you are carving any kind of a neckline - you can stop now and let it fill in.  If you are going 6 months, the added bulk will help it - that said, it's up to you - necklines are a preference.  Okay ... nuff said ... grow it out and Welcome to Short Established Beards!!!
