Welcome to the board, man! You are growing for a year? NICE! I like that goal and you will have a blast if you are able to be able to do it! Your beard looks great! Styling it? Don't let it grow! You six month beard looked outstanding! So, as to products, shampoo it about once per week - you can condition it more often than that. I use an argan oil based shampoo and conditioner. In fact, Walmart Carries it - in the blue bottle. Also, get yourself a boars bristle brush and some beard balm for brushing and styling. The brush will tame it very well. Again, you can get that at Walmart - you don't need anything expensive. Beard balm you may have to oil unless they carry Badger Brand (not sure about that). A few drops of oil once or twice per day will do well for overall beard health - some jojoba, argan, coconut, etc. Okay ... those are the basics.

So, as to your beard, it looks awesome already! You've got your goal (yeard) - so all that's left is to let it grow and, of course, post your progress here! As to that, you already have a good looking short established beard, so, how about I move you over to Short Established Beards! Welcome, man!
