As I was telling TomE in his thread, the construction noises from the assembly of all this high-tech equipment has been practically non-stop. Even before LEGO-Sheriff Triibeard returned from Oregon yesterday, a small (!) crew of Master Builders arrived and began to assemble what looks like part submarine (the first phase) and some sort of aeronautical contraption.

The little Sheriff wasted no time in making specific modifications in mid-construction (such as larger windows in the mini-sub), and I've just gotten a glimpse through the workshop window of two enormous propellors like you might see mounted on a top-secret helicopter. I can hardly wait to see what the finished product is going to be.

He has been spending a lot of time at the yet-again-upgraded GC-420 workstation (It's gotta be a GCX-750 by now -- all sleek and shiny with new, contoured display panels and state-of-the-art analytical equipment). The weather seems to be of particular fascination to him lately, particularly wind patterns.

He seems a bit weary but energized by his eagerness to get to Germany as soon as possible. I occasionally overhear him talking with the construction crew about the "young man" he visited with in Oregon at The BOG. Hmpf! I wonder how he refers to me when I'm not around.
