I wonder how well that would go over here, Dennis.  I think the crowd expects to see the scores as soon as the guy leaves the stage.  It's worth a try, though, and I've forwarded the link on to the Portland club.  Good luck in Cleveland!

My pleasure, Triibeard!  He really wasn't too much trouble.  He left my library a mess though since he wasn't strong enough to return any of the books to the shelves where they were supposed to be smiley: eyes.  Endorsement deal from HP?  Why, what on earth gave you that impression? smiley: wink

Wow, Dirk, I don't know what to say.  Thank you.  I think that you and I are still trying to give back a bit of what we've taken from this great community, and to have a little fun in doing so.  The board's always been great, but it got even more so the day you showed up, my friend.

Well, Dan,  as long as no one decides to dedicate his 666th post to me () I'll just keep reveling in, and being humbled by, each one.  If I recall correctly I dedicated a post to you too, buddy (but I'll be damned if I'm going to dig back through your thread to find it)!

Hey, Rodrigo, great to see you here.  Thanks for stopping by and for those kind words!  I'm still loving the bearded life and wonder why it took me so long to try it!

-------------------------------------------------------

Speaking of loving the bearded life, my beard has been called many things in it's 31-month life but, until last weekend, it had been quite a while since any new adjective had been used for it.  I was out running errands and had just thrown a tie in it to make it presentable.  At one stop the young lady who was ringing up my purchase asked how long I'd been growing it and when I told her she stopped and looked dumbfounded.  She then said, "I didn't know you could grow a beard like that so quickly.  It's, it's......it's luscious!"  Well guys let me tell you, having an attractive young woman call my beard 'luscious' put a spring in my step for the rest of the weekend! smiley: happy  My wife was less amused, though smiley: roll   Needless to say, I had to snap a selfie as soon as I got home to record it for posterity.

The 'luscious' beard:

I wore it to work like that today and nobody said a damn thing.  Sigh, back to reality.

Cheers!
Tom
