It has been much quieter around Rancho Triibeard since the little Sheriff took off for Oregon. By the looks of what Tom E is reporting about the on-going investigation into RiffRaff's activities at The BOG, and the suspicious developments recently reported in Dantes' thread, I suspect it is going to get very busy around here again soon.

I've been enjoying these Nevada summer days in the mid-to-upper 80s and low 90s. We have been making up for the lack of winter snowfall with some powerful monsoon rains that have brought moisture up from the Gulf of Mexico and the Gulf of California to our parched and thirsty land. The weather even wrung out the remnants of a Pacific Ocean hurricane over us. There have been some lightning-caused brush fires which have damaged hundreds of acres, but overall the rains have helped reduce the fire danger to some extent.

Still on the way to the Nevada Beard Contest on Saturday, October 31, 2015. Here is a recent update -- no trims for several months.

Measures out at ten inches now, so after August, September, and October, I should be well past eleven, but not quite twelve. I can say I've put my foot in my mouth on occasions, but soon I can say I GREW a foot on my face. All you majestic tweardlings have gotten there well ahead of me.

There is a message coming in on the Sheriff's GC-420. I'd better go check it out.
