Hey guys! It's been a few months now. I didn't shave since January but I trimmed my beard to maintain a length of a bit more than 2 months of growth.
Cheeks are still very patchy, but I think that trimming the beard helped some slow growers to appear and catch up. The area under my lip is still bald, I see some blond hairs appearing around the soul patch, so I hope it's a sign that it's getting wider.

I'm already applying beard balm and oil. I will also learn how to trim it with scissors because the trimmer doesn't really do the job. I don't know if longer would help to make it look fuller. What do you guys think ?

I think the main problem is that my hair are quite young and don't look as thick as older beards. Do hairs get thicker with age ? This would be my dream goal in a few years: http://cdn.menshairstyletrends.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/temple-fade-by-kevinluchmun-model-Jimmy-Launay.jpg

Also I didn't expect they would turn out that curly, it's quite difficult to maintain. Any advice ? Do I need a beard brush ?
