When I got home from work this evening, LEGO-Sheriff Triibeard was in the lab analyzing the newly-found batch of ORCHiDAN beard oil and beard balm. He appears to have made SIGNIFICANT upgrades to the GC-210 with new sample chambers and a much larger display screen with access to the Internet. It must be at least a GC-420 by now.

The machine hummed and whirred, beeped and buzzed, all while the soft pulsing glow of the ionization chambers gave the lab an almost ghostly illumination. Later, when I looked in on him he was excitedly reviewing images of several rare orchids -- a now-obvious connection to the ORCHiDAN brand name, I suppose.

Apparently, one or more of these species are known to be cultivated at the world-reknowned Bearded Orchid Greenhouses (a.k.a. The BOG) in Oregon in the Western United States.

I can't be sure, but when he gets out the National Geographic Atlas (now THAT was quite a feat! Have you seen the size of that book?!), and then puts on his new Sheriff's hat with the gold star on it, I think he might be hitting the Oregon Trail soon on the next phase of his investigation.

How will he will get there?
