Dirk - Thanks! It was a lot of fun trying to get the shot. I kept trying to do a one-armed selfie, but I couldn't get my beard to fit in the picture so I had to have my wife take the picture. image I am not quite sure it is a masterpiece yet but it sure is dense and I do try to have some fun with it! I am not sure what the responsibilities are for the King of Destiny but I am sure I can procrastinate on those too.

richiehybrid - I don't know what else to say but thanks.

gato - Thanks for the compliments. I do have people staring at me quite a bit and I do get nice comments from people from time to time, maybe an average of once every day or two. Your beard is often mentioned here and your beard/journey is a great example for me. We are very excited for the baby and I am sure you will all see some updates with the little one in the fall.

dbindc - I am still not sure it is fully tamed but I am happy with what I can do with the brush and wax. I haven't fully explored the possibilities with my beard yet and I am excited to hear anyone's suggestions for styling and shaping (as long as there is no cutting involved image ). Thanks for the kind words!

Tom - The pic with my wife was done with a GoPro which is a fish-eye lens. I promise I am not a giant, just an average 5'10" (you can also see my knee brace on the left leg in that pic, I was hobbling around in the desert on crutches). I do use a whole dropper on my face almost every day, which according to my count this morning is around 30 drops image. My beard is dense, but I am also in Arizona, which is damn dry, I don't feel like my beard is over-oiled or anything like that. Regarding the stache, I still haven't perfected the waxing, I sometimes get too much and have to comb it out and work it quite a bit but my mustache is so unruly I almost have to start with too much. The blow dryer is useful to melt the wax once it is in there (I don't use the blow dryer on my beard though as towel dry followed by oil seems adequate). I am glad to have the approval of a stache pro like yourself, please, as I mentioned in my response to dbindc, if you have any styling suggestions, techniques or specific looks, let me know.

mr. sftd - Thanks for the compliment!

DominoBeard - Please don't be too envious, if you knew the horror of my sink after I comb or what I look like when I wake up you may not be saying that. I am happy you rate my beard so highly, its compliments like this that help me keep going with it. I haven't been to any competitions or anything but by your reaction, maybe I ought to register for one.

Mjolnir - Thanks, you have quite the epic beard/stache combo too.
