Potter: I think you're right. This seems to have a definite wax consistency. In fact, I just received my shipment from BealdyBeardy (WOOOHOOO!!!) and the first thing I opened was the JDOZ strong moustache wax. My "balm" has a very similar consistency. So, I inadvertently created my first mustache wax it seems. I'm going to try another batch and go a little easier on the beeswax this time.

fanboy: I'm glad I did it man and I'm glad it has given some of you some insight! Beard on brother.

So, as mentioned above, my shipment of BaldyBeardy products came in! I'm excited!!!

I now have some JDOZ Strong Moustache Wax, creamy vanilla and lumberjack balm, and Dan, being the awesome dude he is, even sent me a sample of his new creamy vanilla beard soap and tangerine, grapefruit and juniper berry balm!

The first thing I opened was the wax. I immediately applied some to my mustache ends and quickly felt my stach whip it self into shape. You can see my natural sweep with JDOZ applied:

The creamy vanilla beard balm has a very nice, deep, warm vanilla smell. It isn't overpowering at all, just right. Now, the Lumberjack balm, the smell is great. I can see what it is a best seller! I can't wait to get both of these balms in my man mane!

Very happy!! And kudo's to IrishDan for the handwritten note and free samples. Very personable touch. I look forward to purchasing more from you my good man.

In 1567, Hans Steininger, the burgomaster of Braunau (then Bavaria, now Austria), died when he broke his neck by tripping over his own beard. The beard, which was 4.5 feet (1.4 m) long at the time, was usually kept rolled up in a leather pouch. --source (Beard Responsibly, my friends)
